Wanneer binnen de vereniging sprake is van grensoverschrijdend gedrag dan biedt de vertrouwenscontactpersoon aan alle leden -of desgewenst hun ouders of wettelijke vertegenwoordigers- de mogelijkheid daar melding van te maken. De contactpersoon zal hier vervolgens actief maar bovenal respectvol op reageren.

Grensoverschrijdend gedrag kan gaan over machtsmisbruik of seksuele intimidatie, maar bijvoorbeeld ook over ongewenst gedrag tussen leerlingen onderling, zoals pesten. Zie voor meer voorbeelden de VOG ( Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag), en de gedragsregels uit het preventief beleid van het NOC*NSF die onze vereniging onderschrijft. Extra informatie over dit onderwerp is te vinden bij het Centrum Veilige Sport Nederland.
Wij kunnen u melden dat binnen onze vereniging alle schaakleraren en begeleiders bij het jeugdschaken een VOG van het Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid hebben aangevraagd en gekregen.

The confidential contact person

Whenever transgressive behaviour occurs within the association, the confidential contact person offers all members -or, if desired, their parents or legal representatives- the opportunity to report it. The contact person will then respond actively, but above all respectfully.

Transgressive behaviour may concern abuse of power or sexual harassment, but also, for example, undesirable behaviour between pupils, such as bullying. For more examples, see the VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct), and the code of conduct from the preventive policy of NOC*NSF, to which our association subscribes. Additional information on this subject can be found at the Centrum Veilige Sport Nederland.

We can report that within our association, all chess teachers and supervisors have applied for and received a VOG from the Ministry of Justice and Security.
